Our Story

Mireo was founded in 2018 with a clear premise: the most consequential work happens where healthcare, scientific research, and technology meet, and the institutions doing that work are underserved by firms that stop at advice.

Before founding Mireo, our managing director spent more than a decade serving the federal agencies responsible for healthcare delivery and biomedical research. That experience produced a specific insight: the operational and technology challenges inside those federal agencies were the same challenges facing the universities, health systems, and academic medical centers that received their funding and delivered care to their populations. The same expertise applied. The same playbooks worked. But the institutions on the receiving end of federal healthcare and research dollars rarely had access to firms that understood their world deeply.

We started Mireo to fix that gap. We work in two verticals: healthcare and higher education. We do not work in any other industry. That focus is deliberate, and it is what allows us to operate as partners rather than vendors.

Our approach has evolved. We started as embedded partners, doing whatever clients needed us to do as part of their teams. That work taught us what these institutions actually need: not another strategy document, but a working solution. A deployed platform. An automation running in production. An AI tool their team can use tomorrow.

That insight reshaped how we deliver. Today, every Mireo engagement follows the same arc: we design the solution, build the technology, and improve both the operations and the technology with our clients as their needs change. Some engagements are bounded. Others continue for years. The constant is what we deliver: a working solution that keeps delivering value over time.

The Mireo Delivery System

Every Mireo engagement runs on a single methodology, the Mireo Delivery System. It is the operating model that ensures every engagement, regardless of size or scope, produces both redesigned operations and deployed technology. It is also the reason our work is repeatable, transferable, and built to last.

The Mireo Delivery System unfolds across three stages, applied within both healthcare and higher education.

Our delivery is anchored in a defined technology stack: Microsoft Azure, Azure AI Services, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps), and SharePoint. We pair this with the platform-specific tools required by each vertical, including digital health platforms in healthcare and research administration systems in higher education.

Mireo is a Microsoft AI Cloud Partner. Our delivery work is anchored in the Microsoft technology ecosystem: Microsoft Azure, Azure AI Services, Power Platform, and SharePoint. We selected this stack because it provides the security, compliance, scalability, and AI capability that healthcare and higher education clients require, and because it produces solutions that institutional IT teams can confidently run and support.

Our team holds active certifications across the Microsoft platform and applies them in production every day.

OUR APPROACH

Stage 01

Design

We start by understanding the business problem and the operational reality around it. We map current state, define the outcome, identify the right technology to anchor the solution, and build the roadmap. Discovery is fast and structured. We know what to ask because we have done this before in your world.

Stage 02

Build

We build and deploy the solution. This is where Mireo is different. We do not hand off architecture diagrams and step back. We configure the platforms, build the automations, integrate the systems, train your people, and operationalize the work. By the end of a build phase, the technology is running in production and your team is using it.

Stage 03

Improve

Operations change. Goals shift. Technology advances. The Improve stage is where Mireo continues to refine the solution with our clients, adding capability, raising performance, and adapting to new needs. Sometimes it is bounded support after a launch. Sometimes it becomes a multi-year partnership. The shape varies. The principle is constant: what we built keeps getting better.
