Healthcare Service

Operational Transformation.

We redesign how health systems operate, then build the technology that sustains the change.

The Problem

Health systems run on processes designed years or decades ago, layered over with technology bolted on as workflows evolved. The result is friction at every turn: clinical workflows that duplicate effort, care coordination gaps, revenue cycle leakage, administrative processes that consume staff time without producing value.

Most operational transformation efforts fail for the same reason. Process maps are produced. Recommendations are made. Improvements are documented. And then nothing actually changes, because the underlying technology and workflows that drive day-to-day behavior were not part of the work.

Mireo does this differently. We redesign operations and build the technology that operationalizes the redesign in a single engagement. The change runs on a platform, an automation, a dashboard, or a workflow tool. It is not optional. It is not a recommendation. It is deployed and running.

Typical Timeline

6 to 24 weeks depending on scope

What We Design

We map current state, define future state, and design the operational change in detail:

  • Process mapping and redesign — current workflows, future workflows, gap analysis, change roadmap.
  • Role and responsibility design — who does what, decision rights, escalation paths, accountability.
  • Performance measurement frameworks — KPIs, baselines, targets, reporting cadence.
  • Change management plans — stakeholder engagement, communication, training, adoption tracking.
  • Governance structures — ongoing oversight, continuous improvement, course correction.

What We Build

We deploy the technology that operationalizes the redesigned operation:

  • Workflow automation — Power Automate flows that route work, trigger tasks, and reduce manual handoffs.
  • Performance dashboards — Power BI dashboards that surface KPIs in real time, by team, by location, by service line.
  • Process applications — Power Apps that replace forms, spreadsheets, and email-based workflows with structured, reportable systems.
  • Integration — connections between EMR, financial systems, scheduling, and the new operational tools.
  • Document management — SharePoint structures that organize SOPs, training materials, and operational documentation.

Where We Apply It

Operational areas we transform:

  • Clinical workflow optimization
  • Care coordination and care team operations
  • Revenue cycle process redesign
  • Patient access and scheduling
  • Care management and population health operations
  • Compliance and regulatory operations
  • Administrative process automation
  • Service line operational design and launch

How We Deliver

Every Operational Transformation engagement runs on the Mireo Delivery System.

  • Design — Current state assessment, future state design, technology selection, change roadmap.
  • Build — Process redesign, technology configuration and deployment, training, performance dashboard launch.
  • Improve — Performance measurement, ongoing optimization, expansion to adjacent processes, continuous improvement.

Timeline

Operational Transformation engagements vary widely by scope. Focused process redesigns typically run 6 to 12 weeks. Multi-process or department-wide transformations run 12 to 24 weeks. Enterprise operational redesign engagements run longer and follow a phased approach.

We scope the timeline in the Design stage and hold to it.

Success Metrics

Operational Transformation success is measured in operational performance, not in deliverables produced. Common metrics include cycle time reduction, error rate reduction, throughput improvement, cost reduction, staff time savings, and adoption rates.

Every engagement baselines metrics at start and reports against baseline throughout.
